Police: Life-threatening injury to fan hit by bat at Fenway (Yahoo Sports)

A woman bleeding from the head was carried out of the Fenway Park stands after being hit with a broken bat and police say her injuries are life threatening. Boston police spokesman David Estrada says all or part of the bat hit her during the game Friday night between the Oakland Athletics and Boston Red Sox.
