Germany trounces Thailand 4-0 to advance (Yahoo Sports)

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) -- Lena Petermann scored twice in three minutes and top-ranked Germany trounced Thailand 4-0 Monday to advance to the round of 16 in the Women's World Cup.
